Arts, Audio/Visual Technology, & Communications – Audio/Visual Production
The Broadcasting Program prepares students for an entry-level position in the media industry. Students gather information, create stories, and report points of view on current issues at the school, local, state, and national levels. Students will gain experience in Audio and Video Technologies that can be used in television, film, music, radio, Web-cast and entertainment. Third level students develop, produce, and broadcast a daily news program. Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared to pursue advanced coursework in either audio and video technology or journalism and broadcasting. Source: TN CTE Website
