Mrs. Deal’s Cosmetology class and Mrs. Jeffries honors Chemistry class combined classes and chemicals to make a hair-raising shampoo! Students worked together to navigate through a chemical formula to create a pH balanced shampoo. Students then evaluated the chemical reaction on human hair of their newly produced product.

  Walker Valley hosted an Academy Night to showcase elective focus courses on Thursday, February 4, 2016.  Students and parents traveled throughout the building to view programs in the three career themed academies.
